Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Zapate Service Association ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when users access Zapate Service Manager, also shown as ZSM in the app icon and installed app name, and related services and admin tools.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use Zapate Service Manager, we may collect:
- Account and contact details such as name, mobile number, email address, login credentials, and role information.
- Shop and business details such as shop name, owner name, business contact details, business address, membership plan, and registration status.
- Membership and billing-related information, including upgrade requests, plan status, and expiry details.
- Referral information, including referral settings, referral earnings, withdrawal requests, UPI ID, withdrawal status, and admin notes.
- Operational data entered into the app, such as products, customers, customer contact details, repair orders, invoices, sales, purchases, expenses, stock, reports, IMEI numbers, or other shop-management records where those features are used.
- Images and documents uploaded by users, including shop logo, customer profile photos, product photos, repair or purchase photos, invoice or device images, and KYC or identity-document images where users choose to upload them.
- Device, browser, log, and usage information such as IP address, device identifiers, app version, timestamps, pages or screens accessed, diagnostics, crash logs, and error logs.
App Permissions and Sensitive Data
Zapate Service Manager may request camera, photo/gallery, storage, internet, notification, and phone-related permissions depending on the feature used. Camera and photo/gallery access are used only when a user chooses to capture or upload images such as KYC documents, customer photos, product photos, repair photos, or shop branding images. We do not access camera, photos, or files in the background.
How We Use Information
We use collected information to create and manage accounts, authenticate users, operate app features, maintain customer and repair records, generate invoices and reports, process membership upgrades and referral withdrawals, provide support, improve reliability, prevent misuse or fraud, send service updates, and comply with legal, tax, accounting, security, or business obligations.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information only with service providers, cloud hosting and storage providers, payment or communication partners, authorized administrators, or legal authorities when needed to operate the service, process requests, protect users, prevent abuse, or comply with law. Uploaded images and documents may be stored with secure cloud storage providers for app functionality.
Storage and Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. Data is transmitted over secure network connections where supported, and access is restricted based on account and role permissions. No internet-based service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so users should keep login credentials confidential and report suspicious activity promptly.
Cookies and Local Storage
Zapate Service Manager may use browser storage, cookies, or similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember session details, secure requests, and improve the app experience.
Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain business records, process disputes or support requests, prevent fraud, and meet legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory requirements. Some records may remain in backups or audit logs for a limited period.
Your Choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, subject to identity verification and applicable legal or business-retention requirements. You can also choose not to upload optional photos or documents, although some features may not work without the information needed for that feature.
Children's Privacy
Zapate Service Manager is intended for business use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated effective date.
